Apollos works with leaders and their staffs to develop strategic planning competencies by coaching them through real-time planning processes.
Apollos subscribes to the biblical perspective that God honors plans that glorify Him and His purposes (Pr. 16:3). He asks that we remain yielded to the guidance of the Holy Spirit in doing what is in our power and then relying on Him to do the part that only He can do.
- God Himself has plans (Ex. 26:30, 1 Chron. 28:12, 19),
- God’s plans never fail (Isa. 14:24, Pr. 19:22, Ps. 33:11),
- God honors plans that are in accordance with His will (Pr. 16:3, Neh. 2:7-8, Ps. 20:4, 1 Cor. 14:33, Pr. 14:22),
- God honoring plans rely on guidance of the Spirit working through godly people (Pr. 15:22, 16:9, 20:5, 21:5, 24:3), and
- God expects us to plan well and then allow Him to step in to do the part that only He can do (1 Cor. 14:40, Luke 14:28, Col. 3:23, Neh. 2:11, 13, 16, Lam. 3:22-23, 2 Tim. 2:13, Jer. 32:17, 27).
