A Leadership Consortium is a group of Kingdom focused missional leaders who desire to grow in their relationship with God, to improve their leadership effectiveness and to improve the effectiveness of their churches or ministries. Members take responsibility for their continuous growth as leaders. They are intentional about “leaders sharpening leaders” (Prov. 27:17) and Leadership Consortia as the preferred paradigm for spiritual growth, learning and renewal.
A leader joins an Apollos facilitated Leadership Consortium to:
- Grow spiritually and intellectually and to promote relational, emotional and physical balance and well-being through group and mentoring relationships.
- Learn from the ministry experiences and insights of others and share his own experiences and insights.
- Be encouraged and be a source of encouragement for others.
- Tap into tools and resources to enhance his ministry effectiveness and equipping of his staff.
- Access teaching by noted experts in the field of leadership and leadership in the Church.
- Utilize and contribute to peer reviews and assistance.
